The Smile Fund is a special grant from ASCF to the Child Life Specialists at The Bristol-Myers Squibb Children’s Hospital at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital (RWJ) in New Brunswick, NJ. This grant of $5,000 allows the Child Life Specialists to fund much needed and anticipated celebrations for the children on the Pediatric Oncology/Hematology Floor. Celebrations such as Halloween Parties, SuperBowl Parties, Summer Bashes, Winter Themed Festivities or Just for Fun Treats provide much needed distractions for the patients, caregivers and even the medical staff.
